At Urtid, our focus is Swedish flavours. We want to show off the magic of our Nordic produce and proudly celebrate our local producers by refining and using the ingredients available ‘right on our doorstep’. You will find Restaurant Urtid at the top of Billingen Hill, and the top of our hotel.
Our menu is based on seasonal produce and therefore changes throughout the year. When you visit us, you will be served a four- or eight-course menu, crafted to be shared and enjoyed together – with a focus on high-quality ingredients, the joy of food and a sense of togetherness.
4-course menu: 845 SEK/person
8-course menu: 1245 SEK/person
Drink packages, non-alcoholic alternatives and wine list are all available in the restaurant.
Please note that vegetarian menus can only be offered with small changes from the existing menu. Sadly, we are not in the position to offer menus free from milk protein, lactose, eggs & lemon, or other adjustments for particular dietary requirements.

Jenny Ståhlberg is our sous chef at Billingehus Hotel, responsible for Restaurant Urtid. Jenny is a skilful and intuitive chef with roots in the town of Hjo, thirty kilometres from Billingehus. As an ambassador for ”Smaka på Västsverige”, she ensures that regional ingredients have a natural place on every plate. Creativity, top quality, and a love for authenticity and genuineness are at the heart of her cooking.
Johan Berlin is our head chef at Billingehus Hotel. With extensive experience from kitchens in Sweden, Norway and Spain, he has built a broad culinary repertoire with quality at its core. Johan is driven by a passion for creating food experiences that both surprise and inspire.
