Urtid is our tribute to the mountain – with a focus on Swedish flavors. Here we want to show the magic of our Nordic raw materials and above all highlight our West Gothic producers by refining raw materials that are “around the corner”. You will find restaurant Urtid at the top of the mountain Billingen, at the top of our hotel – welcome up!

Our menu is based on seasonal ingredients and changes accordingly. When you visit us, you will be served a menu of four or eight courses, created to be shared and experienced together – where ingredients, food pleasure and community are in focus.

The food creators behind the restaurant Urtid
Jenny Ståhlberg is sous chef at Billingehus, with responsibility for Urtid. Jenny is a tasteful chef with roots in Hjo, three miles from Billingehus. As an ambassador for “Taste of West Sweden”, she ensures that local flavors get a given place on the menu. Creativity, quality and a love of the genuine are her hallmarks.
Johan Berlin is head chef at Billingehus. With a solid experience from restaurants in Sweden, Norway and Spain, he has developed a broad culinary repertoire where quality is in focus. Johan is driven by creating dining experiences that both surprise and engage.
