Good to know:
When you stay with us, you get a 15% discount on ski rental at Träningskonsulten, which is right next to the hotel. Book through us to get the discount.
During the winter, the hotel has a convenient ski storage room where you can store your ski equipment and warm your boots during your stay. The storage room is located inside the hotel, with a close connection to the outside so you can quickly get out on the mountain.
The cross-country trails usually open in mid-December or earlier with luck, opening a few kilometers at a time. The trails are open as long as there is snow and well-prepared trails on Billingen, usually March out. During the season, you can see the track status and current times here ›
The downhill skiing opens as soon as there is snow and well-prepared slopes on Billingen, usually around the turn of the year. During the sports holidays, weeks 7 and 8, the slopes are open every day. During the season you can see the current opening hours here ‘

You can choose to book this package for one or two nights, or up to seven nights with a discount.

Feel safe booking with our snow guarantee
As we offer a snow guarantee, you can feel safe when booking your ski trip with us – regardless of the season. We guarantee that at least two km of well-prepped tracks are open. Should this not be the case, you can cancel your booking until 12 noon on the day of arrival and have a full refund.
The snow guarantee applies to our ski packages from December 27, 2024, until March 30, 2025. For the period January 10 to March 2, it also includes the opening of Billingebacken.
Cross-country skiing on Billingen
Billingen is an official Vasaloppscenter with 30 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails that wind through the forests of the plateau mountain. It is one of Sweden’s most modern and longest artificial snow facilities with 11 km of electrically lit artificial snow tracks and space for both classic and skate. Here, both the beginner and the family with children as well as the happy exerciser and elite skier thrive.

Downhill skiing in Billingebacken
Right by our hotel is Billingebacken, which offers both wonderful skiing and brilliant views of Skövde. The slope is 400 meters long, with a drop of 100 meters. There is a slope, two lifts and a fun park with railings and jumps of varying difficulty.
