Billingen\u2019s outdoor recreation area features the municipality\u2019s largest network of running trails, with several different routes to choose from. All trails start from the stadium just outside our hotel, with distances ranging from 2.5 to 57 km. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A tip for a shorter run is the exercise trail around Lake H\u00e5llsdammen, where there are also five cross-training stations where you can train strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is something to enjoy on Billingen all year round. As an Official Vasalopp Centre, it offers excellent cross-country skiing tracks in a variety of difficulty levels. If you prefer downhill skiing, Billingebacken is located just outside the hotel, and there is also a covered ice rink for those who want to test their skating skills. Then a multiplayer match starts with various cooperation exercises where the teams that bid on the \u201cright\u201d things get an advantage in certain events. With the clues won, the teams then compete for the treasure. It\u2019s not over until the lid of the treasure chest is opened and the winning team is announced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All for the team is a nerve-wracking three-part competition that initially challenges collective memory. Teams then compete in a series of sub-competitions where cooperation and communication are crucial to the outcome. The activity ends with a final where the fastest team to connect the clues is the winner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Domino effect<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Time required: 2 h | Participants: 9-200 people<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The challenge is to build each part of a track, which the whole group will then put together. The goal is to move a movement, e.g. rolling a ball from start to finish, similar to a “domino effect”. The teams must first sketch how to solve their part in the best and most creative way, to contribute to the group’s common goal. Can also be conducted in English.

Cooperation and communication<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The instructor formulates the problem to be solved and gives the conditions. The group plans and talks about when they are ready to start, after completing the exercise the group reflects together. We place great emphasis on goal setting, trust and communication in the conversation and draw connections to everyday work. Can also be conducted in English. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
